Birthed from volcanism over the course of many violent centuries, the Hawaiian Island are known today for being a place of beauty, a tropical paradise.  This isolated island chain is home to a variety of native speices and unique environmental characteristics and weather patterns.  These beautiful islands have been undergoing constan change since western influence in the 1800's.  Hawaii is currently a tourism driven economy being sufocated by the rapid expansion of industialism spreading like a disease across the state.  This rapid spread has put an extreme amount pressure on the water supply for such an isolated place. The extremely high population levels are putting questions into the minds of researchers and conservationists alike. But whether or not the current practices employee are sustainable for the future?

Our Focus

Our beautiful state is something to treasured and shared for all to appreciate, but needs a complete dedication from all individuals, both visitors and residents alike, in order to ensure the preservation of this pristine tropical habitat. We focus on this webpage is to highlight key aspects threatening this place and the future of the hydrological system as well as other areas important to the cultural and aesthetic preservation of Hawaii.
